Last Thursday New York Fashion Week came to a close. This week, designers, writers, bloggers, celebrities and fashionistas hit the city streets in droves, attending the hottest parties and runway shows before heading to fashion weeks in London, Milan and eventually finishing in Paris.
To join in the fun, we wanted to share some of our favorite New York street styles and portraits.
Above are Jeremy Scott’s painted head models who graced the city with the same joy and childlike fun their runway show expressed. #ColorMeCity indeed.
We saw a fair amount of wide legged pants on the street, however, according to runway trends we should expect to see more baby bells this spring.
One of the most favored trends this year were sneakers but Alexander Wang takes the prize by creating an entire line inspired by the sporty footwear.
As expected, street photographers and bloggers capture the most playful and bold street goers.
Around every corner there were bright and inspiring forms to be consumed. Click here to check out over two hundred photos from this week’s fashion affair.
The most exciting part of New York Fashion Week for us was to see our very own MeDusa handbags in the city.
Los Angeles blogger Michelle from TAKE AIM took our Paris Bucket Bag for a stroll through Central Park. What were your favorite looks? Are you attending any of the upcoming fashion weeks? Let us know on Facebook and Twitter by #colormecity.
